Registration for all reenactors $5.00 per person. Family price cap of $20.00. Pre-registration closes October 1, 2008. After that date, walk-ons welcomed at the same price but meal may not be available.

Rules And Regulations

 

All uniforms and equipment must be of proper material, construction and appearance.

 

Weapons required for infantry impression will be three band muskets. Cavalry weapons will be carbines, revolvers, and sabers. No Modern muzzleloaders, Hawkins, or flintlocks.

 

No live ammunition or fire works allowed at the event.

 

Bayonets will not be fixed except upon command of the overall commander while on the field.

 

Hand to hand combat is forbidden outside of scripted actions.

 

No ramrods may be drawn on the field except by a senior NCO to clear a weapon.

 

All flags carried on the field (or displayed in the camps during the battle) must be approved by over all commanders.

 

Soldiers will not be allowed on the field until attending a weapons inspection. Also all may have to show pass (from registration) to participate in scheduled battles.

 

No one allowed to participate in event under the age of 18 with out being accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No one under the age of 16 allowed to carry weapons on the field.

 

No unit may act independently on the field without prior approval from the commanding officer. Any participant or unit acting in a reckless or unsafe manner may be expelled from the event by the over all event commander. Their decision will be final.

 

All units may be asked to galvanize.

 

Dismounted Cavalry units will be attached to respective Cavalry Commanders.

 

Coggins test certificate must be shown for all horses at time of registration.

 

For liability reasons, no pets allowed, except registered horses.  Tennessee Code Annotated forbids animals running “at large” under any circumstances.

 

Event pass must be in your possession at all times.

 

Camps, tents will be set up in designated camp areas only. Campfires will be allowed in dug fire pits. At the end of event fire pits should be recovered with the removed sod.

 

At the end of event please pick up all trash and put in the designated area.

 

No alcoholic beverages allowed at event.

 

All modern equipment must be hidden at all times of the event.

 

No vehicles allowed in camp from 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning until after the crowd is safely out of the way Sunday after the battle.  Vehicles must have parking pass on dash while on site.
